Abstract
This research was motivated by the limited number of computers that are available at school, constraint with WiFi access in each classroom, and the low socioeconomic background of students, resulting in some students not having mobile phones. The study aims to find and to describe the planning process for implementing paperless management through Google Forms for summative test, to find and to describe effective implementation methods, then to find and to describe the factors causing the less effective implementation of paperless management through Google Forms for summative test. The research method was descriptive qualitative. Data collection used primary data sources consisting of 20 students at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Gisting who were selected randomly as informants, while secondary data sources were obtained from paperless-based summative test scores through Google Form. The research instruments used observation sheets and interview guidelines. Testing the validity of the data used triangulation techniques or methods in this research. The descriptive analysis is based on the interactive analysis model of Milles and Huberman. The result of this research shows that the implementation of paperless management through Google Form for summative tests at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Gisting is considered effective because it increases test results, reduces paper use, saves costs, and makes it easier to process test result data even with limited technological infrastructure.
