EVALUASI PROGRAM KELAS UNGGULAN MTs. NEGERI 1 TANGGAMUS MODEL CIPP (CONTEXT, INPUT, PROCESS, AND PRODUCT)

Abstract
This study aims to find out and describe the effectiveness of the implementation of excellent class program of MTs Negeri 1 Tanggamus through the evaluation of the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, and Product). This research is an evaluation research using a qualitative approach. The data in the study were obtained from research informants, namely the headmaster, vice headmaster, teachers, and students. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the research show that: 1) the context evaluation shows that MTsN 1 Tanggamus has succesfully met the needs of better education for excellent students, in accordance with community expectations and support the improvement of the quality of education in Tanggamus. 2) Input evaluation are designed and implemented with high standards, starting from the student recruitment process, the quality of educators, program management, to the available facilities and infrastructure. 3) the process evaluation shows that the planning, implementation, and supervision of this programme has been carried out effectively and comprehensively to support the development of students' academic and non-academic potential, 4) the Product evaluation shows that the cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning outcomes of students of the excellent class programme show excellent results. Many graduates from the excellent class program at MTs Negeri 1 Tanggamus have excelled both academically and non-academically, continuing their education at favourite schools in Tanggamus Regency, Bandar Lampung and outside Bandar Lampung.
