Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principal leadership style and school culture on the performance of teachers at Madrasah Aliyah in Bukit Kemuning District. Using a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis, the research involved teachers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a validated and reliable questionnaire. The findings indicate that the principal’s leadership style has a significant effect on teacher performance, and school culture also contributes significantly to improving teacher performance. Simultaneously, both independent variables account for 53.3% of the variance in teacher performance, demonstrating that leadership style and school culture are essential factors in enhancing the quality of educators. These results highlight that effective leadership and a positive school culture can foster a supportive working environment, increase motivation, and strengthen teachers’ professional commitment in fulfilling their responsibilities.
