PENGARUH KEMAMPUAN GURU MENGELOLA KONFLIK TERHADAP KINERJA GURU DI SMP ISLAM MIFTAHUL ‘ULUM MUKOMUKO

Abstract
A good teacher's ability in managing conflict within the educational organization can create a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere and improve their performance. But in fact, at Miftahul Ulum Mukomuko Islamic Junior High School, Teachers' Ability in managing conflict has never been evaluated either during recruitment or after becoming teachers. Therefore, this study presents the results of the evaluation of teachers' ability in managing conflict. The purpose of this study is to determine the ability of teachers in managing conflict toward teachers’ performance. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive correlation method. The population was 30 people and the sample used the total sample method. The data collection tool was a questionnaire and used descriptive and inferential statistics in its data analysis. The results of the study show 1. Conflict management is at 73.3%: (moderate category), meaning that some teachers already understand how to manage conflict such as analyzing conflict, evaluating conflict and using conflict strategies 2. Teacher performance is 66.7% (moderate category), which means that some teachers already have and are able to carry out teacher performance indicators such as work quality and good communication. 3. The influence of 20.25% shows that there is asignificant effect between conflict management and teacher performance at Miftahul Ulum Islamic Middle School, Wonosobo.
