MANAJEMEN KURIKULUM PENDIDIKAN DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA ISLAM TERPADU MENTARI ILMU KARAWANG

Abstract
This study aims to determine the extent to which schools implement the curriculum in an existing learning system. The data analysis used is a type of qualitative research through data collection, data presentation and conclusions. The data collection method is carried out by interviews, observation, documentation and literature studies to obtain data in accordance with what is needed in research. From the results of the research obtained that in the implementation of the curriculum at SMP IT Mentari Ilmu Karawang currently uses a collaborative curriculum including the official curriculum, the JSIT curriculum (Integrated Islamic School Network), and the typical content curriculum of Mentari Science. Apart from these three curricula, Mentari Ilmu IT Junior High School also applies an independent curriculum in grade 7. In implementing the independent curriculum, teachers have the flexibility to choose various teaching devices to adjust learning to the needs and interests of students. At the junior high school level, the curriculum underwent several changes from the previous curriculum, the change was that Informatics became a compulsory subject, while Crafts subjects became one of the choices alongside Art subjects, such as Music, Dance, Fine Arts, and Theater Arts.
