SISTEM INFORMASI AKADEMIK BERBASIS WEBSITE PADA UPT SMP NEGERI 1 PARDASUKA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN LAYANAN ADMINISTRASI

Abstract

Currently, many information systems are implemented using Microsoft Excel software to support various academic activities carried out, resulting in less efficiency in the process and errors often occur. The aim of this research is to create a school web system as a medium for information system development and make it easier for admins, teachers, students and the general public to improve the information system at UPT SMP Negeri 1 Pardasuka. In this research, data collection methods used literature studies, interviews and observation methods. The approach used to create this system is the waterfall model as a software development method. The system requirements for creating this information system include another admin who has access rights who can carry out the master data input process to process transaction data. Different from teacher access rights, students and new users have their own menu which can be accessed on the dashboard page. The program design uses a database creation plan in the MySQL application and the programming language used is PHP.
