Abstract

Human resource management is a deliberate and purposeful process of acquiring, developing, and retaining talented individuals in order to successfully and efficiently achieve company goals. This research tries to ascertain the procedural steps required in the planning process by first establishing the criteria for potential candidates. to ensure that the selected individuals have superior quality and are aligned with the vision and goals of Pondok Pesantren Al-Madinatul ‘Ilmi Kepahiang. To collect information about the implementation of the recruitment and selection process at Pondok Pesantren Al-Madinatul ‘Ilmi Kepahiang. This research uses qualitative research methodology. The research was conducted at Al-Madinatul ‘Ilmi Kepahiang Islamic Boarding School. The research findings show that HR planning is carried out through internal teacher training sessions held at the end of the semester during holidays. These training sessions cover various aspects such as independent curriculum training, differentiated learning techniques, methods of calculating KKM for each subject, and basic teacher training. To acquire the skills necessary to become a capable and productive educator. Pondok Pesantren Al-Madinatul ‘Ilmi Kepahiang conducts recruitment of teachers and staff by using open procedures, utilising social media platforms. Meanwhile, Pondok Pesantren Al-Madinatul ‘Ilmi Kepahiang has the following selection criteria: Muslim, proficient in the Quran, meet the foundation's standards, and fulfil the requirements of the department. Recruitment and selection are conducted to ensure that candidates are selected based on the specific requirements of the institution and department.
