Abstract
Accountability in driving schools includes the ability to effectively account for educational performance to various stakeholders, from parents and students to the government and the wider community. Transparency, on the other hand, relates to the openness of information and decision-making processes in schools, which allows active participation and better understanding from all relevant parties. In this research, the aim is to explore challenges, opportunities, in an effort to increase accountability and transparency through educational management at the Melati State (PAUD) school. The type of research in this research is qualitative research, namely case description, collecting data by using observation techniques, interviews and direct practice. The research results show that Melati State PAUD schools face a number of challenges, including limited resources, a lack of understanding of the concepts of accountability and transparency, and a lack of adequate guidance and support. However, there are significant opportunities for improvement, such as increasing awareness and education, collaboration with stakeholders, use of information technology, and development of teaching staff skills. The conclusion of this research emphasizes the importance of evaluation and continuous improvement in efforts to increase accountability and transparency in Melati State PAUD schools. Thus, appropriate strategic steps need to be taken to ensure that Melati State PAUD schools can make a significant contribution to the development of early childhood education as a whole.
