Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning innovations in Senior High Schools (SMA) in the digitalization era. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a case study design, involving in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation studies in several high schools that have integrated technology in PAI learning. The results of the study indicate that the use of digital technology such as social media, e-learning applications, and learning videos has increased student interest and participation in PAI learning. Technology allows students to access broader and deeper information about Islamic teachings, and creates a more interactive learning atmosphere. However, the main challenge faced is the limited technical ability of teachers in utilizing technology effectively. However, the use of technology in PAI learning can improve students' understanding of Islamic religious values, if supported by adequate training for educators and adequate technological infrastructure. This study concludes that technology-based learning innovations have great potential in improving the quality of religious education in high schools, with attention to proper management and training.
