PEMANFAATAN MEDIA DIGITAL DALAM METODE PEMBELAJARAN PAI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of digital media utilization in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning on students' interest in learning and understanding of the material. Using a quantitative approach of pre-test and post-test experiments, this study involved 60 students from two classes in Senior High Schools (SMA) selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected through learning interest questionnaires, knowledge tests, and observations during learning. The results showed that the use of digital media, such as educational videos, interactive applications, and multimedia materials, had a significant positive impact on increasing students' interest in learning and understanding of PAI material. A significant increase was seen in the results of the pre-test and post-test, as well as observations showing increased student participation during learning. This study concludes that the use of digital media in PAI learning can improve the quality of learning and increase students' interest and motivation. Therefore, the use of digital technology needs to be encouraged by providing training for teachers and providing adequate infrastructure in schools.
